Lightricks Launches LTX-2.5 Open Video Models With Multi-Shot Generation
LTX-2.5 brings synchronized audio, native multi-shot video, open weights, and API pricing from $0.09 per output second.

Lightricks has launched LTX-2.5, a new open video foundation with Fast and Pro API variants. The release arrived around August 11, 2026, according to LLM Stats, which reviewed the models, pricing, deployment options, and limitations.
The system accepts text, images, and video, then produces synchronized video and audio. Its headline upgrade over LTX-2.3 is native multi-shot generation: a single pass can maintain characters, environments, lighting, and voices across multiple cuts. Lightricks also cites a new diffusion video decoder, dynamic compute, a Gemma 4 12B text encoder with prompt enhancement, and an optional duration predictor.
Fast and Pro
The distilled ltx-2-5-fast API model supports output up to 4K, while ltx-2-5-pro focuses on higher quality at resolutions up to 1080p. Fast can generate up to 20 seconds at 720p or 1080p, but is limited to 10 seconds at 48/50 frames per second, 1440p, or 4K. Pro supports 6, 8, or 10 seconds.
Live pricing starts at $0.09 per output second for Fast at 720p and reaches $0.30 at 4K. Pro costs $0.12 per second at 720p and $0.17 at 1080p. Those rates are higher than LTX-2.3, so the upgrade is positioned around capability rather than lower costs.
Why builders should care
LTX-2.5 is available on Hugging Face, with ComfyUI, Diffusers, and LTX pipelines among the supported routes. The vendor claims a 16GB-class self-hosting target, and the Community license is free below $10 million in annual recurring revenue, though it is not Apache and larger organizations may need a paid license.
Builders should verify production coverage: retake, extension, HDR upscaling, and reframing endpoints still listed LTX-2.3 Pro at the time of review. Vendor artifact and speed figures also remain self-reported.
