Cognizant expands Claude deployment across enterprise engineering and operations
Cognizant is scaling Claude across its platforms, workforce, and client projects in a deeper partnership with Anthropic.

Anthropic and Cognizant are expanding their partnership to make Claude a more deeply integrated part of enterprise technology delivery. The services company will use Claude across its own business and engineering platforms, grow a Claude-certified workforce through its Frontier Certified model, and join Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network as a Global Premier Partner.
Cognizant says more than 30,000 associates have completed Claude training. Its teams are also incorporating Claude into platforms including Flowsource, Neuro AI Engineering, and Neuro IT Ops. In Flowsource, Claude Code works alongside developers in a specification-driven workflow: project requirements, coding rules, and architecture guidance shape its output, which is reviewed before deployment.
From internal use to client systems
The expanded relationship is also focused on production applications across industries such as manufacturing, life sciences, and insurance. Cognizant highlights a customer experience portal built for a global manufacturer in six months, plus a contract-intelligence system for a biopharmaceutical company. In that deployment, contract review time fell by as much as 40%, while extraction accuracy exceeded 88%.
Another project helps underwriters move from hours of account research to results delivered in minutes, saving roughly eight hours per employee each week in the cited deployment.
For AI builders, the announcement underscores the growing importance of implementation partners that can connect models to existing software, industry processes, and compliance requirements. Rather than positioning Claude only as a general-purpose assistant, the partnership frames it as a component in governed engineering workflows and specialized enterprise tools. That could give organizations a faster route from experimentation to operational AI—provided the surrounding systems, evaluations, and domain expertise are in place.
